Links and Philosophies

I ran across another interesting article while putting together mentoring program stuff. My fav quote from the article..."I write when I’m inspired, and I see to it that I’m inspired at nine o’clock every morning." (Peter De Vries)

I need to be that committed to my inspiration--particularly because it is crunch time now and I remain quite sporadic in my dissertating. I want to do it, but 100 other things seem to get in the way. I have got to put a stop to that. Anyway, here is the article link: http://tomprofblog.mit.edu/2008/10/21/900-how-to-write-anything/

I also heard about two other cool websites at a reception last week. On one, you set a timer and keep track of everything you get done in the time block. The link is http://mytomatoes.com

The other is an online thesis and dissertation support group called PhinisheD. You set goals and then report back to your online group. The link is here: www.phinished.org

Regarding my writing, my current case of writer's block relates to my teaching philosophy. I have been pondering it for weeks but have gotten nowhere. At least I have an outline now. I will have to go with it and hope that I am able to convey my philosophies accurately. I am running out of time.
