Day 1

Today has been a good day for the 10-day plan, which is good because it was the first day. I don't think I would have been able to stay very positive if I slipped up on the very first day! I had four major tasks to complete today, and I have completed them all. Probably the most difficult task was reading through the revisions on one of my chapters. After working so hard to get it to sound just the way you want it to, it is always hard to see it looking totally different. This is especially true because the new version isn't even finished yet, so it looks extra bad. Nonetheless, I am happy I read it. Since I completed everything on the list today, I am going to surf the Internet for a bit. I need to check e-mail, but I just can't cope with writing responses right now. My mind has checked out.
